Each course allows for just 4 dogs, except AKC STAR Puppy which allows for 5 puppies. Click the REGISTER FOR A COURSE button below to choose a course, start date, and payment. Your spot in a course is not guaranteed until you've chosen a course, a start date, and paid.

Do I have to use Venmo or PayPal in order to sign up for a class?
The online payment system is set up to keep track of registrations as efficiently and fairly as possible. A spot in a course is reserved when full payment has been received. If you would like to pay with cash please email to set this up: gainesvillecanineacademy@gmail.com
YOUR DOG'S SPOT IN A COURSE IS NOT GUARANTEED UNTIL PAYMENT HAS BEEN RECEIVED.
I have to miss a group class. Can I get a make-up session?
Here are some options if you need to miss a group class:
- You can attend any one group class without your dog.
- You can stay about 15-20 minutes after your next scheduled class to work on what you missed.
- If you miss the majority of classes, you may schedule ONE private session in place of all missed classes.

What is the refund policy?
A refund will be issued if you cancel your course registration over a week prior to the start date. If you need to cancel within a week prior to the start date, a refund will be issued if your spot is filled. You can give your spot to a friend, but you must first email your instructor to work out the details: gainesvillecanineacademy@gmail.com
What if I'm not sure if my dog is ready for Level Two Obedience?
No problem! Our trainer can evaluate your dog prior to registration in Level Two Obedience. The evaluation is conducted at our training space, lasts 30 minutes, and costs $50. Please email to set up your dog's evaluation: gainesvillecanineacademy@gmail.com
My dog isn't spayed or neutered. Can we still attend a course?
Yes, you can. Be mindful of your dog's behavior, of course. Some intact dogs can be overly pushy to other dogs, and we want to ensure everyone enrolled receives ample instruction as well as practice in class. Dogs in heat, however, are NOT allowed in class. My dog can be really barky and reactive to other dogs. What class should I sign up for?
Our training space doesn't accommodate reactive dogs, unfortunately. However, there are other dog trainers in our area that can help you and your dog. Click on the dog training company name below to go to their website.
